Sometimes ovarian cancer symptoms may not show until the disease has advanced. Therefore, ovarian cancer is regarded as a silent killer. Cancer of the ovary originates in the ovary. It is a type of cancer that not only occurs in humans but in other species as well. Epithelial ovarian cancer is when the cancer happens in the outer lining of the ovary while germ cell tumor is when it occurs in the egg cells. It is the fifth leading cause of cancer-related deaths in women.

If a cancer begins first in a bone, the resultant tumor is known as a primary bone cancer. Bone Cancer Symptoms It is possible for a tumor located elsewhere in the body to be the primary cancer and from there, a cancer may spread to the bone. This would be a secondary bone cancer. Most bone cancers occur within bones in the arms and the legs.

It is often easy to discover symptoms as they are represented at first by pain when moving and then through swelling. It should be understood though that pain or swelling in joints or bones is not necessarily a sure sign that a tumor has developed. The problem could well be unrelated to a cancer.

But with cancer of the bone, early symptoms may not involve constant pain. In fact at first you may only sense pain at night when resting or through a strong period of activity. It may take some time for the tumor to grow and only then will the pain become regular, if not constant. A person may not have their pain attended to for weeks or even months [in some cases it can even be years] not realizing the cause of the pain being the beginnings of bone cancer. The cancer found in the cells of the penis is known as penile cancer. It is more common among men in Southeast Asia, Africa and very rarely found in United States. Penile cancer is the most rare form of cancer all over the world. The external male reproductive organ which passes urine and sperm out of the body is known as penis. It is made up of two erectile tissues- corpora cavemosa and corpus spongiosum. These tissues are covered with skin and wrapped in connective tissues.

The head of the penis is covered with foreskin, loose skin. Mainly penile cancer is of squamous cell carcinomas, which develops in the lining of the penis. It can be best treated if found at an initial stage. As the size of tumor increases, it spreads to the other parts of the body such as lymph nodes in the groin or pelvis or deep inside the penis. Penile cancer can be cured easily if only inguinal lymph nodes are affected by it. But cure rates decreases if pelvic lymph nodes are also affected by it. People of age above 60 years are more likely to develop penile cancer. Other factors which increases the chances of developing it are heavy intake of tobacco, having poor personal hygiene and many sexual partners.

The most common penile cancer symptoms ever found is the appearance of the sore. Most of the symptoms of penile cancer causes no pain. The symptoms of penile cancer greatly varies depending upon the size, stage and location of the tumor in the penis. An ulcerated area on the skin of the penis, which doesn’t heal and remain for more than 4 weeks is also a major penile cancer symptom. A change in the color of the skin of the penis can be seen. Reproduction is one of the most essential parts of life. However, there are many things that can alter this. One of those things that can alter this is ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer attacks the reproductive organs of a female, specifically the ovaries. It is the fifth leading cause of cancer deaths in women, so it is important for everyone to know more about ovarian cancer and the common ovarian cancer symptoms that come with developing this type of cancer.
Symptoms Of Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian cancer in its early stages may not produce any symptoms at all. However, as the cancer grows and spreads, it produces several different symptoms. Common ovarian cancer symptoms include pressure and paint located in the back, legs and pelvis. Other symptoms of this disease include a swollen or bloated abdomen, nausea, indigestion, gas, diarrhea, constipation, and fatigue or weakness.

There are some less common symptoms that can show signs of possible ovarian cancer. These symptoms are shortness of breath, frequent urination, and heavy virginal bleeding including heavy periods and bleeding after menopause. A couple of years ago I managed (as a result of a rather silly climbing accident) to tear some ligaments around my SI joint… based on my experiences I can highly recommend that you avoid doing that at all costs!!

Initially I didn’t know it was a SI problem as “all” I had was severe lower back pain. After an initial GP visit and about 6 weeks of (rather expensive) physio the condition wasn’t really improving. A second visit to my local GP confirmed that they only seemed to want to treat the symptoms and just prescribed much stronger pain killers.

In desperation I tried a different physio, and by chance ended up in front of an osteopath who was happened to be covering for the main physio who was on holiday. After 2 minutes of contortion she concluded that it wasn’t a back problem so much as an SI issue. She also established that applying traction to the joint pretty much alleviated all my symptoms, she also suggested that in such instances using an inversion system had often proved very successful for treating this type of problem.
