In the event that you are unfamiliar with what prostate cancer is, it is the abnormal growth of all of the cells within the prostate gland, the prostate gland is considered to be a major part of the male reproductive system. The prostate cancer symptoms may or may not occur within men that are suffering from this condition. Since prostate cancer is a type of cancer that develops slowly, there are some men that have the disease that may not even realize it.

Within the early stages of prostate cancer, the prostate cancer symptoms aren’t evident. Relatively speaking, the screening process for prostate cancer is simple to perform, with a PSA test and a prostate examination annually. The majority of patients that have prostate cancer are going to be identified and with a high chance of finding a cure relatively. Overall, screening for all of these diseases is just a fact of modern day medicine.

In relationship to prostate cancer, this issue is rather complex, because the overall benefit to all of the patients is very far from being completely clear. A screening is performed before you ever have any of the symptoms of cancer, just to test to see if the cancer is present. When a screening test is performed, it can normally find cancer in its early stages.

All of the prostate cancer symptoms are the essential key to determining whether or not an individual is at risk for developing prostate cancer. With all of the early self-diagnosis, one will be able to create a detour completely away from prostate cancer’s deadly route. Prostate cancer symptoms within their early stages can reflect characteristics such as urinary incontinence and difficulties.

Often, there are men that experience frequent urination, even though the amount of urine that is passed is quiet small. Often, the urinary incontinence follows menopause or childbirth. Prostatic or urine fluid cytology could reveal some cells that look rather unusual. You should also take into consideration that all of the experts report that the PSA tests aren’t reliable any that they are searching for all of the better ways that they can diagnose prostate cancer.

Prostatic or urine fluid cytology could reveal some rather unusual cells. One of the other tests that are normally performed when all of the prostate cancer symptoms are present is the DRE or digital rectal exam which is performed by the oncologist, proctologist, and doctor. All of the blood within the urine is normally a symptom of something other than the prostate cancer.

However, within individuals that do have the prostate cancer, a presence of blood within the urine could be an indicator that the condition has advanced or either it has spread from the prostate and on into the urethra or bladder. Normally, the blood tests will confirm this diagnosis.

If a cancer begins first in a bone, the resultant tumor is known as a primary bone cancer. Bone Cancer Symptoms It is possible for a tumor located elsewhere in the body to be the primary cancer and from there, a cancer may spread to the bone. This would be a secondary bone cancer. Most bone cancers occur within bones in the arms and the legs.

It is often easy to discover symptoms as they are represented at first by pain when moving and then through swelling. It should be understood though that pain or swelling in joints or bones is not necessarily a sure sign that a tumor has developed. The problem could well be unrelated to a cancer.

But with cancer of the bone, early symptoms may not involve constant pain. In fact at first you may only sense pain at night when resting or through a strong period of activity. It may take some time for the tumor to grow and only then will the pain become regular, if not constant. A person may not have their pain attended to for weeks or even months [in some cases it can even be years] not realizing the cause of the pain being the beginnings of bone cancer. Once a tumor has developed within the skeletal system, other symptoms may be loss of weight and a feeling of lack of energy. (more…)

The cancer found in the cells of the penis is known as penile cancer. It is more common among men in Southeast Asia, Africa and very rarely found in United States. Penile cancer is the most rare form of cancer all over the world. The external male reproductive organ which passes urine and sperm out of the body is known as penis. It is made up of two erectile tissues- corpora cavemosa and corpus spongiosum. These tissues are covered with skin and wrapped in connective tissues.

The head of the penis is covered with foreskin, loose skin. Mainly penile cancer is of squamous cell carcinomas, which develops in the lining of the penis. It can be best treated if found at an initial stage. As the size of tumor increases, it spreads to the other parts of the body such as lymph nodes in the groin or pelvis or deep inside the penis. Penile cancer can be cured easily if only inguinal lymph nodes are affected by it. But cure rates decreases if pelvic lymph nodes are also affected by it. People of age above 60 years are more likely to develop penile cancer. Other factors which increases the chances of developing it are heavy intake of tobacco, having poor personal hygiene and many sexual partners.

The most common penile cancer symptoms ever found is the appearance of the sore. Most of the symptoms of penile cancer causes no pain. The symptoms of penile cancer greatly varies depending upon the size, stage and location of the tumor in the penis. An ulcerated area on the skin of the penis, which doesn’t heal and remain for more than 4 weeks is also a major penile cancer symptom. A change in the color of the skin of the penis can be seen. They’re edible and as one of the common names, Bear Corn, suggests black bears eat the inflorescences for food and along with deer probably help to spread the seeds. Rumor has it that it acts as a laxative and bears use it to self-medicate a stubborn case of constipation when they awaken from hibernation in spring. The plants also have astringent properties and supposedly have been used by Native American women to relieve symptoms of menopause. That might be the origin of its common name squaw root. (more…)

The above are three pictures of the exit of my stomach and one of the entrance. As the lady taking the pictures jerked her camera snake from my stomach to my duodenum I writhed involuntarily. I was told not to move since it could be dangerous. I wanted to reply that I did not move volunatarily but it was, of course, impossible to speak with a hose down my throat.

My doctor says that he thinks that my symptoms are caused by the small white area in the top left photograph, which he believes is probably is a benign ulcer. He says that the biopsy is only a routine matter, but here in Japan a doctor would probably would not tell me if I were suspected of cancer anyway. I hear statistics such as, more than one half of those who die of cancer in Japan are never told. (more…)
